We Are Rock of Ages

• To propagate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the nations of the world.
• To co-operate in mutual understanding with other churches/organisations for the extension of the Kingdom of God.
• To acquire either by purchase, lease or otherwise any movable or immovable property or other assets and utilise, sell, let mortgage or charge, or otherwise deal with or dispose of movable or immovable property belonging to the church.
• To collect funds by lawful means and to utilise them for any purpose or in any manner calculated to further and advance the objectives of the church.

• To open and operate accounts with banks and building societies or other finance houses and to withdraw any funds from time to time as the church may require financing her obligations.
• To enter into any contract of employment or service with any person or organisation and to remunerate any person or company for the services rendered to the church.
• To establish, run or operate schools of religion, departments and institutions for the spiritual development of church leaders and their members.
• To do any other lawful activities and things as may be conducive or incidental to the advancement of the objectives of the church.

THE SCRIPTURES.

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally spoken by God to be divine inspired, infallible without error and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21, Matt 24:35, Psalm 119:105).

THE ONE TRUE GOD.

We believe in one true God who revealed himself as the eternally self-existent. ‘I am’ the creator of Heaven and Earth and the redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as, Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. (Deut 6:14, Isaiah 43:10, 11 Matt 28:19, Luke 3:22)

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, His personal return in power and glory. (Col 2:9, Isaiah 7:14, Luke 21:27, Heb 4:14, Acts 2:22, 1 Peter 1:3 & 3:18, Mark 16:19)

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit whose Ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict the world of sin and to regenerate the sinner upon believing in Christ and to indwell the believer, sanctifying him through the truth and enabling him to live a holy life and to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 6:63, 16:8, 13 & 14, 1 John 5:1, Romans 8:9, 1 Peter 1:2, Acts 1:8)

SIN AND SALVATION

We believe that because of sin, the entire human race is lost, and that lost, sinful men can only be saved through the atoning death, shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 1:9-20, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:9, Titus 3:5)

THE CHURCH

We believe that the church is composed of all such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, having been regenerated by the Holy Spirit are spiritually united in the body of Christ of which he is the head. (Acts 2:47, 1 Corinthians 12:24 & 27, Colossians 1:18)

WATER BAPTISM

We believe that all who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour are to be baptized by immersion as commanded in the scriptures. They declare to the world that they died with Christ and that there also have been raised with him to walk in the newness of life. (Matt 28:19, Mark 16:16, Romans 6:4)

HOLY COMMUNION

We believe that the Lord’s supper consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of vine is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of his suffering and death. (Colossians 3:1-11, 1 John 4:7-16, 2 Peter 1:4, 1 Corinth 11:23-26, John 15:1-10, Romans 6:1-11)

DIVINE HEALING

We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from illness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. (Exodus 23:25-26, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matt 8:16-17, James 5:14-16)

THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead, of the believers to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord Jesus Christ and of the unbelievers to judgment and conscious punishment. (John 5:28-29, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 20:11-15)
